Questions about 3D printing materials and databases? Our engineers will answer.
Senrui's internal materials are grades in use on the production line; data has been checked against the manufacturer's TDS and typical reference values, and can be ordered directly for mass production; the reference general materials are a general material knowledge base for cross-selection comparison, and specific properties are subject to the corresponding grade's TDS.
First look at process and performance: photosensitive resin for appearance, nylon (SLS/MJF) for functional strength, SLM powder for metal parts, FDM for large low-cost parts; then filter by heat resistance, toughness, and post-processing requirements. You can also use the "Smart Process Selector" on the 3D Printing page to get recommendations.
The score is based on a material's typical physical properties relative to its class, rated by engineers on a 0–10 scale; it is for intuitive trend comparison and does not constitute an absolute performance metric; use the physical-property parameters below for quantified values.
SLM-printed 316L can achieve a density above 96% and tensile strength of approx. 520-600 MPa; mold steel MS1 can reach a post-aging hardness of approx. 54 HRC and tensile strength of approx. 2000 MPa, with properties close to forgings, meeting functional and mold-use requirements.
Additive-manufactured part performance is affected by process parameters, build orientation, and post-processing, so typical ranges are given. For volume projects we issue measured reports based on your process window; for single-piece reference, the card details and the manufacturer's TDS prevail.
Upload the model and performance requirements; Senrui material engineers will combine the nine-dimension map and mass-production experience to give the optimal material and process combination recommendation.
