Cycle Time Composition Analysis
The injection molding cycle is not a single process but a sequence of four main stages. Data analysis shows that the Cooling stage (Cooling) typically occupies 50% to 75% of the entire cycle. Therefore, the core of algorithm optimization lies in accurately calculating and shortening the cooling time.

Algorithm Processing Flow
To achieve automated cycle prediction, our algorithm does not rely on a single formula alone, but adopts a multi-stage logical judgment flow. This not only accounts for heat conduction, but also incorporates equipment capability limits.

Influence of Material Thermal Properties
Different polymers have different thermal diffusivity (Thermal Diffusivity, α). The higher the α value, the faster the heat conduction and the shorter the cooling time.
This chart shows the theoretical cooling-time differences among common materials at the same geometry (wall thickness 2 mm).
Key Findings
Although PP has a relatively low melting point, its crystalline nature releases latent heat, which can affect cooling efficiency. PA66 (nylon) usually requires a higher mold temperature, reducing the temperature differential and extending cooling time.
