Process Parameter Conversion
Convert Moldflow simulation results (fill time, injection volume, peak pressure, holding pressure, clamping force, etc.) into engineering parameters that can be set directly on the injection molding machine in one click: injection speed, injection/holding pressure, back pressure, screw RPM, V/P transfer, shot size, clamping force check and cycle time. It also supports importing by pasting Moldflow data and exporting machine setup sheets.

Parameter Conversion Principles
All conversions are based on the conservation relations of rheology and heat transfer in injection molding, combined with the mechanical characteristics of the injection-molding machine. The symbols in the formulas below correspond one-to-one with the calculation panel.
01Injection Speed Velocity
Moldflow volumetric flow rate Q, combined with screw cross-sectional area and volumetric efficiency, is converted to the machine's linear injection speed Vscrew.
02Injection / Hydraulic Oil Pressure Pressure
Nozzle-end melt pressure plus safety factor and nozzle pressure loss gives the barrel set pressure; for hydraulic machines divide by the boost ratio to get hydraulic oil pressure.
03Hold Pressure Hold Pressure
Take the Moldflow holding pressure directly and up-adjust by the safety factor, typically 60–70% of the peak injection pressure.
04V/P Switchover Position Switchover
Switch at 98% volumetric fill, leaving a cushion to ensure effective holding-pressure transfer.
05Clamping Force Clamp Force
Directly use the Moldflow clamping-force requirement and compare with the machine's maximum clamping force; if exceeded, a larger machine is needed.
06Screw Speed and Cooling Time Screw & Cooling
Plasticizing is completed in parallel during the cooling + holding phase; the required screw speed is determined by the displacement per revolution; cooling time is estimated from wall thickness and material thermal diffusivity using the flat-plate cooling formula.
