Senrui Precision Mold (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. · Assistant to General Manager
A mechanical engineer spanning academia, automotive, and manufacturing, fascinated by turning algorithms and processes into productive forces that can be deployed on the factory floor.
I'm Ethan, as all my friends call me. I completed my bachelor's and master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering (thermal-fluids) at Aoyama Gakuin University in Japan. My master's thesis covered the aeroacoustic design of low-noise, high-efficiency propellers: using a four-step method of BEMT + minimum induced loss + profile-drag optimization + simplified aeroacoustics, I brought the noise of a ring propeller down from 83.9 dB to 77.5 dB, and improved its efficiency along the way.
Later I joined Honda R&D, working on hardware development for ADAS driver-assistance systems, gaining hands-on experience in mass-produced automotive-grade products. Now back in Dongguan, I serve as Assistant to the General Manager at the family’s injection mold factory, Senrui Precision, leading the factory’s digital management, lean SOP, cost control, and mold quotation standardization.
My work is something of a left-brain/right-brain tug of war: on one side, hard-core technologies such as CFD, mold flow analysis and optimization algorithms; on the other, the management realities of shop-floor digitalization, production scheduling and quoting. I am fascinated by connecting the two ends with code and process — so that from drawing to mass production, every step of a product is data-backed, computable and reusable.
From laboratory propellers, to mass-produced-car ADAS, to the injection molding machines in the Dongguan factory.
Engineering simulation is the base, manufacturing and molds are the home ground, AI and algorithms are the lever, and management and digitalization are the landing point.
Skill profile aggregated by four domains; the farther out, the higher the proficiency.
Darker color means the skill is more mature and independently deliverable.
Integrate academic capability, automotive experience and factory resources into a few actionable, replicable main threads.
Self-developed Next.js + SQLite ERP (v5, with authentication / Gantt / row-level CRUD); encapsulates weekly-meeting SOPs and the directly runnable mold quoting engine SenrMold.
Opened a studio in Shenzhen, focusing on thermal-management fluid parts such as microchannel cold plates with “simulation + manufacturing integration” delivery.
A practical technical library covering injection molding, mold design, artificial intelligence, mechanical engineering, 3D printing, CNC, and MIM.
Validated a five-format content distribution template of 'card → HTML → PPT → pptx → long-form official-account article' (e.g., the 'overfitting' IP package).
Whether for technical exchange, business cooperation, or working together to 'figure it out and make it real,' you are welcome to reach me through Senrui Precision's official channels.
